Annual Book Sale @ William Hall

The Friends of the Cranston Public Library will host its annual Book Sale on Saturday, November 4 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The sale will be held at the William Hall Library, at 1825 Broad St.
Fiction and non-fiction books, in hardback and paperback, will be available to purchase as well as CDs, DVDs, children’s books, and cookbooks, in excellent condition. All CDs, DVDs, and adult books are $1, and kids & teen books and small paperbacks are 50 cents each. Cash is preferred but credit cards will also be accepted.
All are welcome. 100% of the proceeds from the book sale help support library resources and programs.

How to Talk About Race in Rhode Island @ Central

This program focuses on how to discuss race and racism with people who may be different from us. Facilitator Ray Rickman is an expert in helping individuals talk with others about race in a positive manner. The subject of language use and how to value people who may be different or new to our community is part of this discussion. Ray enjoys helping people find a positive personal role to play in improving race relations during these challenging times.
