Jazz Concert to Celebrate Black History @ William Hall

Join us for a special jazz concert performed by Two for the Rhode and Friends in celebration of Black History. This concert is presented in collaboration with The Providence Federation of Musicians, with thanks to the Music Performance Trust Fund.

Adult Crafts: Folded Paper Flowers @ Central

This month we’re making folded paper flowers. Learn how to turn 5 squares of paper into a beautiful flower!

Collage Meetup @ William Hall

Bring your collage projects and get to work! This is not a class. Participants will work on their own projects and must bring their own supplies. There will be a limited amount of glue sticks and old magazines available and plenty of space to spread out. If you have extra source material or supplies to share, please bring them along. Come join other artists and have fun. We will stop working at 3:15 to allow some time for show and tell.

Learn About the Coming Eclipse with Francine Jackson @ Central

Francine Jackson from Brown University’s Ladd Observatory will present a talk about the solar eclipse and the amount of coverage we will see here in RI. A free pair of eclipse viewing glasses will be available for those who attend this event, one per patron while supplies last.

John Houle “The Siberian Candidate” Author Talk @ Central
