The No. 8 Cranston East girls lacrosse team fell 10-4 to undefeated, No. 1 Lincoln on the road last week in the Division III Quarterfinals, ending its 2019 campaign.
Eily Brindak had a solid outing for the Thunderbolts, scoring a pair of goals. Laura Jones and Hope Halvarson each added scores in the loss, while Lily Frappier chipped in an assist. East goalie Bernadette Linsangan recorded seven saves.
Lincoln’s Hannah Schermerhorn led the way for the Lady Lions, scoring a game-high four goals while teammate Sadie LaFleur added a hat trick. Drew Swanson racked up 14 saves for Lincoln in the cage.
The Thunderbolts finish the season with an overall record of 7-7.
