New England Slush Company on Gansett Ave. once again held their free ‘Family Fun Day’ on June 16, which offered a magic show, face painting, bounce houses, DJ music, henna tattoos, a free raffle, and a martial arts demonstration.
Throughout the day, families stopped in for the free entertainment and could purchase as much slush in different varieties as they wanted.
Also on hand were members from ‘One Cranston,’ who had a craft table. The Burrito Bowl Express was also there, and they are exploring the option of making the site a permanent place of business.
This is the 6th annual ‘Family Fun Day’ and plans are moving forward for next year. New England Slush Company is owned by Derek Nelson and managed by Crystal Larkin.
