From the desk of Cranston City Wide Councilman Robert Ferri

Posted

In consideration of the contentious discussion surrounding the City of Cranston purchasing the Park Cinema which is owned by Ed Brady a former Councilman in Cranston, I am calling on all elected officials in Cranston to return any contributions made to them by Ed Brady or any of his partners in the Dig in Dining Restaurant Group.

I called the Board of Elections and was told that his campaign account was closed and that I could donate the money to a charity and record it as a returned contribution. I chose one he is not affiliated with. I made that donation today.

Again, I call for all elected officials in Cranston who received campaign donations from Ed Brady or any of his partners to return them by making a donation to a charity not affiliated with Ed Brady or any of his businesses.
