The Rhode Island Boys Soccer Coaches Association recently unveiled its award winners for the 2023 season, and West’s Sam Naiefeh led the way making Second Team All-State. Teammate Jonathan Frias was named to the All-State Third Team as well as the duo led the Falcons to the Division II Semifinals.
Cranston East keeper Christian Gomez was named the Division II Goalkeeper of the Year while the Bolts won the DII Team Sportsmanship Award.
Naiefeh and Frias each made the Division II First Team along with Gomez.West’s Parker Inocencio was named to the DII Second Team as well as Alejandro Molina. West’s Chris Melise made the Division II Third Team along with East’s Brandon Natareno.
