Dean of the College of Business at URI, Sean Edmund Rogers of Cranston is one of two new United Way Board members installed at the organization’s recent 97th annual celebration. Rogers is a champion for equity in education, a collaborator, and a system builder with a vision to expand the college’s presence in the community. He is an accomplished researcher, with interest in employment discrimination, workplace diversity, and unions and labor-management relations. He earned a Ph.D. in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from Rutgers and is a certified Senior Professional in HR (SPHR), and a Society for Human Resource Management Sr. Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Also named to the board is Kate N. Kishfy, Esq., founder of Kishfy Law.
