State House prudes?

To the Editor:

I am writing in reply to legislation proposed by Rhode Island State Senators Frank Ciccone and Hanna Gallo to impose a blatantly unconstitutional new Rhode Island sin tax upon online adult entertainment.

Am I safe in guessing that neither Ciccone nor Gallo know what proxy servers are, or how they can be used? Among the Internet’s greatest strengths is that it was deliberately designed to bypass and go around government or other obstructions. Perhaps it now is time for Rhode Island voters to replace totally ignorant Luddite prudes, such as Ciccone and Gallo, with new state senators who are far less clueless and far more technologically savvy.

Michael, congrats on identifying yourself as a porn freak. Enjoy your vice. Sicko.

Welp, found another prude in the bunch Michael!

This wasn't about porn or perversion. It was another way to gain money from a vice. A way for government to control the masses for no other reason than greed. The money gained would have never gone towards the betterment of society either. Just another revenue stream the RI politicians would have used to help their political aspirations.
