The Cranston Herald’s Athlete of the Week is Bishop Hendricken sophomore goalie Brayden Nebus, who recorded a shutout win in the state championship game against La Salle last Saturday night. Nebus transferred to Hendricken prior to the season which forced him to sit the first half of the year due to eligibility requirements. After joining the team as the backup, he was thrust into action when the starter fell ill to the flu. Nebus did not look back, allowing just one goal in the semifinals then stopping all 22 shots faced at states. (Photo by Alex Sponseller)
