Randy Guzman was considered an elite pitching prospect heading into his senior year with the Bolts in 2023 and lived up to the hype, finishing with two no-hitters and guiding the Bolts back to the postseason. His performance on the mound earned him First Team All-Division honors and he went on to sign to play college ball for Division I Central Connecticut.
Griffin Crain was among the best overall athletes in the state of Rhode Island in 2023 as he was a leader for the Hawks across multiple sports. Crain was a captain for the hockey team which went on to claim its third straight state title with a win over rival La Salle in March. Crain was one of the league’s best and most consistent two-way players on the ice and finished with championship MVP honors to go along with 15 goals and 11 assists. Crain followed it up with a stellar baseball season as he was named the Division I MVP thanks to his consistent offense and emergence as Hendricken’s No. 2 pitcher late in the season. Crain will be playing baseball for Division I Louisville.
