The Button Hole 13-U PGA Jr. League All-Stars put on a show at the New England Sectionals earlier this month and punched its ticket to this weekend’s Regional Championships in Middlefield, Conn. with a chance to qualify for nationals in Texas. The team shot a 103 to take first place overall. The Button Hole roster includes Declan Ward, Tate Pathoummahon, Kaiser Louangxay (Cranston), Kamryn Kue, Ishaan Catone (Cranston), Brayden Huoth, Samaira Dhamija and Tatum Stark. Players also come from Providence, Johnston, Smithfield, Cumberland and Barrington. The eight-man team has emerged as one of the top junior clubs in New England. The team is coached by Button Hole club professional Tyler Pierkarski. The team recently made a GoFundMe account and is seeking donations to help cover travel expenses.
