A Public Hearing will be held before the Ordinance Committee of the Cranston City Council on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 6:30 p.m., pursuant to Section 3.12 of the City Charter, on proposed Ordinances 9-23-01 and 9-23-05 amending Title 17 of the Code of the City of Cranston, 2005, entitled 'Zoning'.
PROPOSED ORDINANCE 9-23-01 IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 17 - ZONING, CHAPTER 24 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON, ENTITLED 'Performance Standards Generally'
The City is proposing an amendment to Chapter 17.24. The purpose of this Code Amendment is to add Section 17.24.50 - Retail Sales of Cannabis.
PROPOSED ORDINANCE 9-23-05 IN AMENDMENT OF TITLE 17 - ZONING, CHAPTER 17.36.010 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON, 2005, ENTITLED 'Industrial Uses'
The City is proposing to amend Chapter 17.36.010. The purpose of this Code Amendment is to include Commercial Uses in the Performance Standards, Enforcement of Standards, and Corrections required for noise and vibration for the operation of uses in C1, C2, C3, C4, C-5 and industrial districts and for the operation of industrial or commercial nonconforming use in any zone.
