For more than 40 years, Cranston Hall of Fame has been honoring, recognizing and celebrating graduates from Cranston Public Schools.
From a pool of almost two dozen applications, the screening committee presented what they believe to be a strong and respectable slate for this year's class.
This year's class represents a variety of professions and interesting individuals: Steven Feinberg, Executive Director RI Film and TV Office, Cranston West, 1981; Dr. Marcia Fay Katz (posthumously) medical doctor, researcher, author and professor, Cranston West, 1975; Carol Peterson, Philanthropist and retired CEO of FM Global, Cranston High School, 1958; Constantine "Gus" Marses, owner Royal Poultry, Cranston West, 1985; and the last member of the HOF Class of 2024 is Mark Ross, retired vice president of Ross Simon’s Jewelers, Cranston High School, 1960.
As well as the five inductees this year, the Hall of Fame with be bestowing The Dr. Frank DelSanto Community Service Award will be awarded posthumously to Army Sergeant Adam DeCiccio for his brave military service in Afghanistan and Iran and his tireless efforts and deeds to support local veterans and their families in Cranston and beyond.
