The Lady Bolts limped their way into the 2023 spring season after a winless, 0-18 campaign the previous year. Leading the way was first-year coach Jordan McHale, who immediately set the tone and got the most out of her roster which featured many underclassmen. By season’s end, East was one of the toughest outs in the division as they finished with an 8-9 league record and beat Davies in the play-in game to earn a spot in the playoffs. The Bolts eventually fell in the losers bracket but did pick up a 16-6 win over Exeter-West Greenwich along the way to emerge as contenders for this upcoming season.
