Ocean State Orchid Society to meet Feb. 13

The Ocean State Orchid Society will conduct its February meeting via Zoom.

Speaker Carri Raven-Riemann will be presenting information about Phalaenopsis orchids. Phalaenopsis orchids, often called “moth orchids,” are commonly grown among beginner hobbyists. Carri, owner of Orchidphile, will be presenting information regarding unique orchids of the Phalaenopsis genus.

The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. on Feb. 13. The society will have its usual Grow and Show, during which members and guests can show orchids from their collection. The public is welcome to join and learn about these fabulous flowers.
