SEX OFFENDER


At 10:23 a.m. on April 11, Cranston Police arrested Daniel Moronta, 33, of No Particular Address for Sex Offender Address Change. The arrest was the result of subject turning himself in at Cranston Police Department. Moronta was transported to Third District Court.

 

IDENTITY THEFT

At 12:40 p.m. on April 11, Cranston Police arrested Michael Hasuga, 63, of 689 South 16th St, Newark, New Jersey, for Obtaining Goods/Services Under False Pretenses and Identity Theft. The arrest was the result of an incident at Citizens Bank, 2191 Broad St. Hasuga was held for arraignment.

 

ASSAULT


At 9:36 a.m. on April 11, Cranston Police Michael Lovenberry, 49, of 63 Silver Lake Ave., Providence, on charges of felony assault and disorderly conduct subsequent to investigation and interview concerning incident at Park Place Bar & Grill, 1401 Park Ave. Lovenberry was arraigned at Third District Court.

 

DUI

At 1:36 a.m. on April 10, Cranston Police arrested Meloiza Escobar, 39, of 52 Hibiscus Lane, Coventry, on charges of DUI – unknown BAC (first offense). The arrest was the result of an accident investigation in the area of Natick and Wilbur Avenues. Escobar awaited arraignment.

 


At 10:33 p.m. on April 6, Cranston Police arrested John Scotti, 55, of 225 New London Ave., Apt. 31, Cranston, on charges of DUI – BAC .132, .141 (first offense). The arrest was the result of a traffic crash at 1062 Pontiac Ave.
Scotti was summoned to appear and transferred to Rhode Island Hospital.

 

WARRANT

At 12:48 p.m. on April 11, Cranston Police arrested Alexis Silva, 29, of 68 Arcadia Ave., Cranston, on an arrest warrant from Pawtucket Police Department. The arrest was the result of an incident at 5 Garfield Ave. Silva was turned over to Pawtucket Police Department.

 


 

At 7:35 a.m. on April 11, Cranston Police arrested Giovanni Pina, 24, of 206 Pine St., Brockton, Massachusetts, on charges of drive by shooting, conspiracy, and duty to stop-damage to attended vehicle, as a result of the suspect turning himself in at headquarters, on an issued Cranston Police Department A&A warrant and investigation from the PreGame Lounge. Pina was arraigned at Third District Court.


 

At 9:30 p.m. on April 8, Cranston Police arrested Mark Kelley, 47, of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, on Superior Court bench warrants (two). The arrest was the result of a well-being check in the area of 529 Reservoir Ave. Kelley was transferred to ACI Intake.


 

At 4:56 p.m. on April 5, Cranston Police arrested Michael Lonardo, 34, of 43 Tweed St., Cranston, on a Third District Court Bench warrant as the result of an attempted pick up at 43 Tweed St. Lonardo was arraigned and released.


 

At 7:15 a.m. on April 5, Cranston Police arrested Rene Junior Correa, 41, of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, on a Cranston Police Warrant for Failure to Register and Superior Court Bench Warrants (two) as a result of the suspect turning himself in at police headquarters. Correa was transferred to Superior Court.


 

At 6:45 p.m. on April 4, Cranston Police arrested Jason R. Catoni, 41, of 112 Auburn St., Apt. 1, Cranston, on a Providence Police Arrest Warrant as a result of a traffic stop at 364 Wellington Avenue. Catoni was transferred to Providence Police.


 

At 5 p.m. on April 4, Cranston Police arrested Alexander Abreu, 30, of 55 Alverson Ave., Apt. 2, Providence on a Providence Police Arrest Warrant as a result of a traffic stop at 432 Union Avenue. Abreu was transferred to Providence Police.

 

CYBERSTALKING

At 7:25 p.m. on April 8, Cranston Police arrested Dax Polofsky, 46, of 4 Dwight St., Cranston, on charges of a Foster Police Department A&A for Cyberstalking. The arrest was the result of an attempt to locate Polofsky at this address for Foster PD. Polofsky was processed and turned over to Foster PD.

 

DRUG POSSESSION

At 12 p.m. on April 5, Cranston Police arrested Larue Rawls, 21, of 13 Ridge St., Apt. 1, Cranston on charges of Possession of Schedule II as a result of a traffic stop at 873 Cranston Street. Rawls awaited arraignment by Justice of the Peace.


 

At 1:17 a.m. on April 5, Cranston Police arrested Caesar Mixon, 19, of 34 Doane St. Cranston, on charges of possession of Schedule II. The arrest was the result of a call for a car stop on Burnham and Carlsbad Streets. Mixon awaited arraignment.
