DUI/DWI

On 5/15/23 at 1225hrs Officers Henry and Clifford arrested Charles Hopkins, 53, of 176 Camden Ave #2 Providence, for DUI 1st BAC Unknown. Arrest the result of a motor vehicle accident and subsequent investigation in the area of 950 Phenix Ave.

Leaving the scene of an accident

On 05/14/2023 at approximately 0134 hrs. Officers arrested Christopher Blair (49) of 45 Glenwood Ave. Cranston, for Leaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Personal Injury. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle accident at 301 Pontiac Ave (CFD Station 2).

On 5/10/23 at 2028 hours, Officers arrested Markea Smith, 29, of 545 Park Ave, Cranston, RI, for Violation of a No Contact Order and Domestic Disorderly Conduct as the result of a disturbance at 593 Pontiac Ave.

On 5/15/23 at approx. 1152hrs Officers arrested Geury O’Neal, 25 of 90 Orchard St for Obstruction of Officer in Execution of Duty and an active arrest warrant out of Lincoln Police. Arrest the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Gansett Ave and Doane St.

Receiving stolen goods

On 5/9/23 at 1730 hrs. Officers arrested Lewis Benvie, 29, of 36 Gillen St, Providence for Receiving Stolen Goods as a result of a FLOCK hit and subsequent traffic stop on Cranston St.

Shoplifting

On 5/15/23 at 1844 hrs. Officers arrested Gail Deaett, 43, of 130 Waterman Ave. Apt. 13, North Providence for Shoplifting and two Affidavit Arrest Warrants from Warwick Police and North Providence Police as a result of an Affidavit Warrant pick up at Smithfield Police Department
