To JAMES E. DONAHUE, CHAIRPERSON OF THE BOARD OF CANVASSERS, in Providence County in said City and State – GREETINGS:

You are hereby commanded and required in the name of the Board of Canvassers and Registration of said City to post at least seven days previous to the day herein named written notifications in one public place in each Sixth Ward Voting District of said City, or substitute notification by publication in a newspaper having local circulation, giving notice to the qualified electors thereof to assemble in District Meetings on:

TUESDAY, THE 3RD DAY OF OCTOBER A.D. 2023

For the purpose of electing a City official, wherein said Electors shall: in each voting district give in their ballots as provided by law for a Member of the Cranston City Council to represent the Sixth Ward of the City for an unexpired term.

YOUR POLLING PLACE MAY HAVE CHANGED

· If you voted at Glen Hills School in 2022, for this Special Election only you will vote at the Schofield Armory.

· If you voted at CLCF in 2022, for this Special Election only you will vote at the Cranston Central Public Library.

EARLY VOTING NOTICE

Early Voting will take place at Cranston City Hall,
869 Park Ave, weekdays from Wednesday, September 13 through Monday, October 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., ending at the 4 p.m. deadline on Monday, October 2.

 

 AND TO TRANSACT ANY OTHER BUSINESS THAT MAY LEGALLY COME BEFORE SAID ELECTION.    
Said election, as the law directs, shall be kept open from 7:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M.
Hereof fail not, and true return of this warrant make with your doings thereon.  

TO THE ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF CRANSTON – SIXTH WARD:
You are hereby notified and warned to assemble in District Meetings at the time and place therein named for the purposes therein set forth.
