The Cranston West swim teams split their meeting with Mt. Hope on Monday night as the boys won 56-38 and the girls lost 54-40.

Here are some of the results from the meeting:

Alex Tremblay, Charlie Maguire, Trenton Kiernan and Joe Iannitti combined to win the 200 medley relay while Tremblay later won the 200 and 500 freestyles. Kiernan took first in the 200 individual medley, while Maguire won the 500 free and 100 free.

Chris Harvey won the backstroke for the Falcons while Iannitti took first in the breaststroke. Tremblay, Maguire, Kiernan and Iannitti combined to win the 400 free relay.

Iannitti also took second in the individual medley while Kiernan took second in the fly. Vincenzo Paliotta finished second in the 500 freestyle.

West’s relay team of Harvey, Paliotta, Matt Varin and Ethan Chin finished second in the 200 free.

Bianca Ascencio had a big outing for the Falcons, winning the 200 individual medley and the 100 fly. Julia Levy took first in the 50 free for West as well. Annelsia Joyce, Alessandra Russo, Grace Kim and Levy combined to win the 200 free relay.

Victoria Badger, Joyce, Avery Ashegh and Ascencio finished second in the 200 medley relay while Levy finished second in the 100 free. Badger placed second in the backstroke while Joyce took second in the breaststroke.

Levy, Ascencio, Badger and Alexa Hogan placed second in the 400 free relay.
