Michael P. Bellotti 83, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 18, 2024. He was the loving husband of Ann M. (Murphy) Bellotti. They had been married 55 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John and Liberina (Cosantini) Bellotti.
Michael graduated from Providence College, received a Masters of Social Work Degree from Boston College, and an Ed.D from Boston University. Michael was a licensed clinical social worker who worked for the RI Department of Human Services, and then later for Kent County Mental Health Center.
Besides his wife he is survived by his sons, Stephen M. Bellotti and his wife Christine, Mark C. Bellotti and his wife Grainne, and Thomas P. Bellotti and his wife Serena. He was the loving grandfather of Felix, Marguerite, William, Cormac, and Una Bellotti. He was the brother of Donna Rocchio, and the late John Bellotti.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday April 24, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. from the Barrett and Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Peter’s Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick.
